Music Enrichment
Year 5 Brass Tuition and Year 6 Flute Tuition
Our Lancashire Music Service (LMS) provision includes whole-class practical instrumental music-making for our Year 5 and Year 6 children, as part of their curriculum entitlement, through their Wider Opportunities Scheme. Through the scheme, all our children are loaned (free of charge) an instrument (trumpet, cornet, baritone or flute) for a whole year and receive weekly expert tuition from a LMS teacher. The children are given the opportunity to showcase their instrument learning, to their families, through two concerts during the year.
